Titorian Scripts - Volume I

Click here to discover the Titorian Scripts - Volume I on Paranormalis.

The first time I heard of John Titor was in 2005. It was a true revelation, a unique story. A tale like no other… Little did I know, I had found a gift that would keep on giving.

A gift that would follow me for the next 20 years of my life.

John’s story is one of selfless sacrifice, courage, hope, friendship, and love that spans decades. A labor of love we can all relate to, that resonates within our very cores.

His C204 time displacement unit, his mission to retrieve the IBM 5100 computer, his messages on Time Travel Institute, the secret song… Every little fragment, every little piece of his tale is a treasure.

Quick Blog Update

Hi,

As you might have noticed, I'm no longer posting as much as before. It's not because I don't like this blog. I love it and I love Blogger. I just don't have that many things to share, and I'm aware it's never going to reach a wider audience. It's my tiny blog and always has been.

Nowadays, I tend to post on my primary website, Paranormalis.com. There, I reach a larger audience. People that I actually know and interact with. It feels more rewarding and creates more value than posting things here, in a vacuum.

I also started posting on Medium.com as a personal experiment, to see if the kind of articles I write can generate revenue. It's an exciting adventure, but I'm not very consistent. Still, I'm trying to push forward and keep the ball rolling. I must have made about $0.50 up to now. More than zero...

So, here are a couple of links where to find me.

Paranormalis.com:
Paranormalis | The Paranormal and Time Travel Forum

Medium.com:
Num7 - Medium

I'll certainly keep posting here once in a while. Not just right now, or on a regular basis.

See you around!

Long Time No See

Almost didn't post in a year now...

I decided to revamp things a little, after almost switching to Write.as. Pretty neat product if you ask me, but I didn't feel like paying $60/year for a personal blog I almost don't use right now. Maybe I'm cheap...

Instead, I kind of copied their overall look and feel. Saved me $60.

See you around!

A New Updated Theme!

For the first time ever, my personal blog has a light style. It feels fresh, actual and very different from what I'm used to. I like it!

I grew tired of darker styles because they rarely age well and have to be replaced over and over. Dark styles, when not done properly, will easily make your website feel like a dark and lonely, obscure corner of Internet. You definitely don't want that.

I also decided to move from Open Sans to Lato for a more formal feel, I think it does the job pretty well!

From FlatPress to Blogger

A few days ago, as I was customizing my blog again, I realized that something was wrong. All that time I've been using FlatPress, I kept modifying, fine-tuning and working again and again on my blog's design and features without being able to make it feel right. I was investing more time and efforts in the container than in the content. That's not right. It was time to let go and move on.

I happened to test Google's Blogger, a product I didn't use in years. I was surprised to see how it improved over the last 5 years. I found what I was looking for. Then, I went through all my posts one by one and copied them to Blogger. Didn't feel like messing around with a potential way to batch import my entries. Not for only 17 blog posts. 15 minutes later, all my content was migrated.

A part of me is sad to move away from a product I care about. FlatPress, although not powerful and widely used as WordPress or Blogger, is a great product. It's developer, NoWhereMan is a great guy. I decided to go with it several years ago because it's easy to customize and I wanted to learn a few things along the way, which I did. Did I overgrow it? I don't think so. I'm just tired of my blog being in constant development. I still want to develop themes for FlatPress though, it's an amazing platform to learn and experiment, while bringing forward the product's development. But I'm not going to use it for my personal blog. For now.

For the first time in years, I'm satisfied with how my blog looks, feels and works. Hope it'll last!
