My 2026 Combat Master Wishlist

This feedback comes from someone who wants this game to succeed.

Combat Master has real potential, but it’s being undermined by basic feedback, presentation, and focus problems. These are fundamental issues, not minor tweaks… and addressing them would make an immediate difference.

Fix hit and kill sounds

Let’s start with the basics: feedback.

The hit marker “tick” and kill “beep” sound cheap, flat, and completely disconnected from what’s happening on screen. They break immersion instantly.

This is a shooter. When bullets land, it should feel like something happened.

Right now, hits sound like tapping a calculator. Kills sound like a phone notification—not the end of a firefight. That’s a problem.

BloodStrike gets this right. Its hit feedback is squishy, meaty, and immediate. You hear the damage. You feel the confirmation. It reinforces immersion instead of killing it.

Replace the current hit and kill sounds with proper SFX… sounds that communicate impact, lethality, and momentum. That alone would be a massive improvement.

Give guns weight

The core gunplay is fine. Aiming, recoil control, movement… it all works.

The problem is that the guns feel weightless.

Too many weapons feel interchangeable. Pick one up, swap it out—it barely matters. They sound similar, shoot similarly, and leave the same impression: none.

This is mostly an SFX and presentation issue.

Guns need weight, punch, and personality. You should be able to recognize a weapon by sound alone, without looking at the HUD.

Again, BloodStrike does this well. Every gun has a distinct audio identity. You know what’s firing instantly. They feel different because they sound different.

Improve firing sounds. Improve reloads. Improve mechanical details… metal, slides, bolts, echo. Make each gun recognizable and satisfying.

Better maps, not just more

Map count isn’t the issue. Quality is.

Most maps are serviceable but forgettable. Bland layouts. Nothing that sticks with you after a match ends.

The current Combat Zone oil rig map needs to go. It’s cluttered, awkward, and not fun to play consistently. And that helicopter can fuck right off.

Bring back the classic Pokrovsk BR map. It worked. It had flow, identity, and room to breathe.

If you’re adding maps, make them memorable. Strong visual themes. Clear flow. Engagement spaces that actually feel good to fight in.

Focus on Combat Master

This is the biggest issue… and honestly the most baffling one.

World War Legion is a lazy knockoff nobody asked for and nobody plays. It feels like a cash grab, and it shows. No one is invested. No one cares. Drop it.

Combat Master, on the other hand, actually has something going for it.

It’s flawed, but it’s fun. It’s not unbearably sweaty. It respects your time. And most importantly, it has real potential.

Stop splitting focus. Fully commit to Combat Master and move forward.

Study what works in successful shooters. Learn from BloodStrike. Learn from Call of Duty Mobile. Look at gun feel, sound design, weapon identity, and player feedback.

Fix the SFX. Give guns character. Improve map quality. Stop spreading resources across throwaway projects.

The foundation is already there.  It just needs real commitment.
